The Zain Africa Challenge programme enjoys tremendous support in the education sector:

Ministries of Education in all countries assist with identifying eligible universities and communicating with the Vice Chancellors.

Vice Chancellors at participating universities guide the programme at their respective institutions.

The Inter-University Council of East Africa (IUCEA) assists Zain Africa Challenge by serving as a liaison to the participating universities and in providing research support for the project.
